Q: What is an Audit Log?

An Audit Log is a record of changes made within a module. It shows:

  • What was changed

  • Who made the change

  • When the change was made

Each module has its own Audit Log.

Q: Where can I find the audit log?

Click the “Log” button.

The Audit Log is located at the top right of each section within a module.

Q: How does it work?

There is an Audit Log for every section in every module.

Whenever you or someone on your team makes a change within a module, a record of that change is automatically stored in the Audit Log.

Q: Is there a search function within the Audit Log?

No. There is currently no search function within the Audit Log.

Q: Can I print an Audit Log?

No. There is currently no option to print an Audit Log.

Q: Can I see who made a change and when?

Yes. The Audit Log records:

  • The change made

  • The user who made it

  • The date of the change

Q: Does the Audit Log have a rollback feature?

No. There is no rollback functionality. Changes must be manually reversed.

Q: How long are Audit Logs stored?

Audit Logs are stored until you delete your company.

Q: Can I export Audit Logs?

No. Audit Logs cannot currently be exported.

Q: Are deleted records tracked in the Audit Log?

Yes. All changes, including deletions, are recorded.

Q: Can Audit Logs be customized?

No. Audit Logs are automatically generated and cannot be customized.

Q: What permissions are required to modify Audit Logs?

Audit Logs cannot be modified. They are immutable to maintain data integrity.

Troubleshooting FAQs: Audit Log

Q: Why can’t I find the Audit Log for a module?

A: The Audit Log is located at the top right of each section within a module. Ensure you have access permissions for that module.

Q: Can I search for specific changes in the Audit Log?

A: No. You must manually review the entries.

Q: What should I do if the Audit Log is not updating with recent changes?

A: Refresh the module or clear your browser cache. If the issue persists, contact support.

Q: Can I print the Audit Log?

A: No. There is currently no print function.

Q: Can I export Audit Logs for offline review?

A: No. Audit Logs cannot be exported.

Q: How can I track who made a specific change?

A: The Audit Log records the change, the user who made it, and the date.

Q: Are deleted records included in the Audit Log?

A: Yes. All actions, including deletions, are recorded.

Q: How long are Audit Logs retained?

A: Audit Logs remain stored until the company is deleted.

Q: Can I customize the Audit Log format or content?

A: No. The format is standardized and cannot be changed.

Q: What happens to the Audit Log if I delete a module?

A: The Audit Log for that module is also deleted. Ensure you retain any necessary information before deleting a module.

A: Yes. Access depends on your module permissions.

Q: Can I see changes made by other users on my team?

A: Yes. The Audit Log records changes made by all users with access to that module.

Q: Why can’t I see changes I made earlier?

A: Ensure the changes were saved. If they are still not visible, contact support.

Q: Is there an alert system for changes recorded in the Audit Log?

A: No. There is currently no alert functionality tied to the Audit Log.

Q: Can I view the Audit Log for deleted modules or companies?

A: No. Once a module or company is deleted, the associated Audit Log is removed.

Q: Why can’t I modify or delete entries in the Audit Log?

A: Audit Logs are immutable to protect data integrity and cannot be edited or deleted.

Q: How do I request new features (such as search or export)?

A: Contact support or use the platform’s feedback option to submit feature requests.

Q: Are Audit Logs accessible in all modules?

A: Yes. Every module has its own Audit Log.
