A. Access the filter management page:
Logging into Dokeos LMS:
Log in to Dokeos LMS with an Administrator account.
Accessing the Users Menu:
In the left sidebar menu, click on "Users".
Opening the Filters Page:
Click on "Filters" to access the page where you can manage existing filters and create new ones.
B. Create a new filter
Access the filter creation page:
On the Filters page, you will see a list of all created filters with their corresponding labels.
Click the "+" button to create a new filter.
Fill in the filter information:
Filter Name: Enter a descriptive name for your filter.
Filter Label: Enter the label you want to assign to this filter. This label will be used when selecting the filter during user enrollment.
Adding a New Label: You can create multiple labels for each filter.
Saving the Filter: Once you have entered the necessary information, click "Save" to create the filter.
Information: If you need to create multiple labels, you can first create the filter without defining the labels. Then, use the Excel file for bulk user import to assign labels directly to each user. For more details, please refer to the relevant tutorial.
C. Assign a filter when enrolling or editing a user :
Access the User Enrollment or Edit Form:
When inviting a new user or editing an existing user, go to the enrollment or user modification form.
Find the Additional Filters Section:
On the enrollment or modification form, locate the "Additional Filters" section.
Assign the Filter to a User:
In the "Additional Filters" section, you will see the list of created filters.
Select the appropriate filter and assign the corresponding label to the user.
D. Verify the filter application
Confirm that the filter has been correctly applied by checking the user’s profile after saving. The filter will also appear on the Users page.
E. Delete or modify a filter :
On the same Filter Management page, you can view all created filters.
To delete a filter, click on the three-dot menu next to the desired filter, then select "Delete" to permanently remove it from the portal.
To modify an existing filter, click on the three-dot menu and select "Edit" to update the filter details.
