Ensure that your SCORM package is created with an authoring tool compatible with SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, both of which are supported by Dokeos.

Step 1: Access the module creation section

  1. Log in to your Dokeos LMS account with the Instructor role.

  2. In the "My Modules" section, click on the "+" button to create a new module.

  3. Select "SCORM Module" from the available options.

Step 2: Configure the SCORM module

  1. Enter the title of your SCORM module.

  2. Provide a description outlining the module's content or objectives.

  3. Add keywords to facilitate searching:

    • Type each keyword and press Enter to validate.

Note: Dokeos automatically saves changes. A green checkmark (✓) confirms that the save was successful.

Step 3: Import and upload the SCORM file

  1. Click "Choose" to select the SCORM ZIP file from your computer.

Note : Do not leave the page while the file is being processed.

2. Once the upload is complete, a green checkmark (✓) will appear with the message "Processing completed".

Step 4: Set the estimated duration

  • Use the time slider to define the module’s estimated duration in minutes.

  • This step is mandatory to finalize the module.

Step 5: Manage instructors

Default Instructor: You are automatically assigned as the primary instructor.

Add or Remove instructors:

  1. Click on "Add" to manage instructors.

  2. Use the "+" button to add an instructor or click the red cross to remove one.

  3. Click "Validate" after making your selections.

Step 6: Finalize and publish the module

  1. Before publishing, click on the three-dot menu and select "Preview" to check the module’s appearance.

  2. If you are satisfied, click "Publish" to make the module available to learners.

Information:

Even if you don’t publish immediately, your module is automatically saved.

Now you know how to publish a SCORM module in Dokeos LMS!
