This tutorial will guide you through the process of enrolling learners in a course on Dokeos LMS. You will also discover the available features for managing enrolled participants.

Access the participant list :

  • Navigate to the course: Go to the course for which you want to manage participants.

  • Access the participant list: In the course menu, click on the "Course Participants" button.

Available features :

1. View the list of participants

  • You will be redirected to a page displaying the complete list of participants enrolled in the course.

  • This list may include details such as name, surname, email address, and enrollment status.

2. Filter participants

  • Use filtering options to refine the participant list based on different criteria, such as status (enrolled, completed, pending) or role (learner, instructor).

  • Filters may vary depending on your course configuration.

3. Manage Enrollments

Add participants:

  • Click "Add a Participant" to enroll new learners in the course.

  • Enter the required details, such as email address and name, and select the appropriate role.

Remove participants:

  • Select the participants you want to remove from the course.

  • Click "Remove" to delete them from the participant list.

Edit participant information:

  • Click "Edit" next to a participant's name to update their personal details or enrollment status.

4. View participation statistics

  • Access participation statistics to review data such as the total number of participants, completion rates, and individual progress.

  • These insights help track learner engagement and assess the effectiveness of the course.

5. Send Notifications

  • Send messages or notifications to participants directly from this page.

  • You can choose to notify all participants or specific groups as needed.

Important Notes

  • Permissions: Ensure you have the necessary rights to add, remove, or modify participants. These options may be restricted to administrators or designated instructors.

  • Synchronization: Changes made to the participant list may automatically sync with other parts of the Learning Management System.

Now you have an overview of what you can do using the "Course Participants" button on Dokeos LMS.
