This guide provides essential information to help you get started with booking and issuing Flydubai tickets in DRCT. Here, you can learn about the product features, booking process, ticketing rules, and post-sale support.
🔮 What can you do in the Flydubai channel?
In this channel you can:
Make a calculation;
Create a booking;
View the created bookings;
Issue tickets;
Add additional services (after the issuance);
Void tickets;
Cancel booking;
Refund tickets.
⚡️How to create and issue Flydubai tickets via DRCT
Step 1: Search
✏️ Begin by entering your search criteria (origin, destination, dates, passengers).
Click «Search» and DRCT will quickly display the available Flydubai flights and fares.
Step 2: Create the booking
✏️ Choose the flight and fare you want, then enter the passenger information.
Once all details are complete, click the «Book» button to create the reservation.
✏️ To open only the booking that you have created, please click on the green pop-up line labeled «Open booking».
✏️ Once you are redirected to the booking page, enter and save passport information. When you are done, click on the «Issue» button located in the top right corner of the page to generate your tickets.
❗️In FlyDubai there is no price recalculation on the day following the booking creation. The fare remains fixed until the ticketing time limit expires.
✏️ All tickets issued will be included in the «Sales» section on the DRCT.aero website. Here you can download the ticket in PDF format.
🚀 Instant issuance
If there are less than 48 hours left before departure, the Flydubai system doesn’t allow creating a booking, it must be issued immediately.
✏️ As per the standard procedure, please enter the passenger details and click “Continue.”
✏️ There will be no time limit in this case. To confirm ticket issuance, please click Issue. If the booking isn’t issued as soon as possible, it will be automatically canceled.
❌ Void and cancellation
After the tickets are issued, you can void them on the same day by clicking the «Void and cancel» button in the top right corner of the page. Once the action is completed, all flight segments will be automatically removed from the booking.
Less than 24 hours before departure — void is not possible;
24–48 hours before departure — void is possible within 2 hours of ticket issuance;
48 hours or more before departure — void is possible within 3 hours of ticket issuance.
❗️The void is processed for all passengers in the booking. To split the passengers — please reach the support team.
💼 Ancilliaries
During the booking stage, you can view the prices of available additional services.
After the tickets are issued, you can purchase these services, including checked baggage of different weight options, special meals (such as child meals, vegetarian or vegan meals, and others), as well as seat selection.
⏪ Refund
You can calculate the amount and process the refund in DRCT on your side. To do this, please click the “Refund” button at the top of the booking. First, you will see a window with the refund amount calculation, and then you can confirm or cancel the refund.
❗️Please note that the FZ service fee is non-refundable.
Economy:
Round Trip (RT) — 20 EUR per passenger;
One Way (OW) — 10 EUR per passenger.
Business:
Round Trip (RT) — 50 EUR per passenger;
One Way (OW) — 25 EUR per passenger.
🧭 How to create and issue tickets via DRCT Extension?
Step 1. To start working in DRCT, enter in your GDS.
Passenger name.
Flight segment.
Calculation command, e.g. FXB.
❗️The following pricing commands are currently supported:
1. FXB
2. FXA
3. FXB/KC
4. FXB/SBF
5. FXB/R UP
Step 2: Calculate and book.
✏️ At this point, DRCT will offer to calculate. At the right of the corner calculation window will pop up with price quote offered by DRCT. Click on the «Book» button to start creating the reservation.
✏️ You will be redirected to the booking page in the search. Open the flight details, select the desired fare, following the flow described in a previous section.
✏️ The passenger and flight details will be filled in automatically.
Press the «Book» button to complete the reservation.
✏️ Further management of the booking will also take place on the DRCT website.
🛠️ How to manage Flydubai bookings after ticket issuance?
Once the tickets are issued, our support team is ready to assist you with post-purchase services, including:
Ticket exchange — can be requested via support after ticket issuance.
Seat selection — available after ticket issuance.
Additional baggage — available only after ticket issuance. During the booking stage, you can view the baggage price, but the service can be added only after the ticket is issued.
Special service assistance — support with special service requests.
Requests for SPEQ, MEAL and WCHR.
Add or update contact details.
Add or update a frequent flyer (mile) card.
Change / enter passport data.
Refunds — available directly in DRCT.
