Summary
The app allows for two types of bookings: group and private. Group bookings allow you to set an attendee maximum and the cost will adjust accordingly. For private bookings, you can use product variants to define the number of attendees per booking.
Based on Number of Guests (Group Bookings)
In the app, we have a guest counter feature that is enabled anytime your event attendee max is greater than 1.
For example, your event is $10 with 4 max attendees. Your customer can set the # of guests that would attend with them - in this example, they set it to 4. Now the total cost would reflect as $40 (4 guests at $10 each). No variant setup is necessary. the attendee maximum syncs directly with the product quantity.
For Private Bookings
If you offer private bookings (one booking at a time, regardless of the number of attendees), then you can use a product variant to support the guest count.
Each product variant allows you to define the number of attendees for that booking. This would appear on the booking page for your customer, allowing them to select their desired booking size.
