POS is a great way to let you and your staff

  • Search for upcoming bookings

Point of Sale UI Extension

This extension lets you

(A) Search for customer bookings by ID or Name
(B) Check in customers with bookings
(C) Add this booking to the cart on POS. This allows you to (1) Collect payment through POS when they arrive, including tips and (2) add additional items to cart they may want to purchase (ie. Shampoo after a Salon Appointment) in one cart.

  1. Open your Shopify Point of Sale App

2. Click "Add Tile"

3. Click App > Easy Appointment Booking Point of Sale

4. Search for customers by Booking ID or Name and check them in

5. Click Check In to check them in. This is a toggle that lets you track to see who has been checked in.

6. Click Add to Cart when ready to pay. This adds the corresponding product and the customer to the cart making it super easy to check out!

Point of Sale Link

The alternative to the extension is using POS Link. This requires authentication to your Shopify Admin to use, so not as ideal for delegating to staff. Here's how it compares

Here's how to set this up:

  1. Open your Point of Sale App, Click "Add Tile"

  2. Click Link > Enter the URL

  3. Enter your store URL followed by "admin/apps/digital-appointments"

    1. For example, if my store is ray.myshopify.com, I would enter ray.myshopify.com/admin/apps/digital-appointments

    2. Name is something you would recognize as you use your POS, like EAB

    3. Note: you may have to login to your account for the first time on this setup, but afterwards it will be clickable without requiring a login.

  4. Now you can open up the app to take and manage bookings!

I need my team to manage bookings that aren't able to easily on POS. What do I do?

Our most popular tool for this is the team portal - a login specific to your team members that lets them see bookings relevant to them (or at a single location). This lets you delegate to your team with ease!
