Recipe production settings

Updated over 2 weeks ago

For production planning to work there are a number of fields which need completing on each recipe. Depending on the operations of your business not all of these fields will be relevant.

In the sidebar head to Recipes and search for the recipe you’d like to set. Click ‘Edit’.

Basic Information

On this tab ensure 'Count in Stock Take' is ticked.

If a recipe does not have this ticked it will not be visible in the Production Planner.

Production Settings

Production Visibility

Here you are able to set which productions this product can be made by using the tick boxes.

The productions available are defined by the Production Site Settings - for example if your site only has one production run you will only be able to tick 'Production 1'.

Production visibility is set at a site level as this can vary site to site, double check the site you have selected in the top left to see which site you are setting visibility for.

⚠️ Note: these fields will only appear when you are viewing as a specific site so ensure you do not have "All Sites" selected in the top left dropdown.

To ensure this recipe is now available in your Production Planner you should either:

  • Add the recipe to a Range/Tier - if you have a Standalong/Hybrid/Hub&Spoke Production model you will need to setup Ranges and Tiers and assign the relevant recipes. If your site is a CPU this step is not relevant.

  • Link the recipe to a CPU product - if your site is a CPU on Edify you will need to ensure the recipe is linked to the CPU Product.
