Updated school account interface

We’ve updated the platform structure — the changes affect classes, students, staff, and access permissions. Navigation is now simpler: key sections are separated, and some tabs have been reorganized.

Below is what changed and how it affects your work.

Classes

Previously, classes were located inside the Online Lessons and Online Courses sections.

Now they are available in a separate section — Classes.

This section includes:

  • individual online lessons

  • group online lessons

  • online courses

Access to classes depends on the user role:

  • teachers and course supervisors see only the classes they are assigned to

  • classes available through access groups are also visible

Why we made this change

A class is the core entity of the platform — this is where learning happens.

Moving it to a separate section allowed us to:

  • Simplify navigation

  • Add flexible filters

  • Expand admin capabilities

Students

Previously, students were located in multiple sections: Online Lessons, Online Courses, and Users.

Now there is a dedicated section — Students.

Access to students also depends on the user role. Teachers and course supervisors see:

  • students assigned to them

  • students available through access groups

If a staff member doesn’t have access to students, the Students section is hidden from the menu.

Why we made this change

A separate section helps to:

  • find students faster

  • apply filters

  • manage access and structure more easily

Filters and sorting

The Classes section now includes new filters and sorting options.

All settings are saved at the profile level — each user sees only their own configuration.

This means filters and sorting do not affect other team members.

Schedule

A new Schedule tab has been added to the sidebar.

For the following roles:

  • Teacher

  • Course Supervisor

  • Administrator

this tab is always visible and cannot be disabled.

The main administrator can manage its visibility in profile settings.

Website and requests

The Requests section is no longer part of Online Lessons — it is now a separate menu item.

It is available only to the main administrator.

If needed, it can be hidden in the settings.

Administration

We’ve expanded access settings for administrators.

Due to changes in the structure of classes and users, some settings have been updated, but:

  • current staff keep the same access levels

  • no additional actions are required

Access to:

  • Online Lessons

  • Online Courses

is now split into:

  • Classes

  • Students

Employees

The Users section has been removed.

It is replaced by two separate sections:

  • Students

  • Employees

The Employees section appears if at least one of the following modules is enabled:

  • Teachers

  • Course Supervisors

  • Administrators

In this section, you can:

  • manage all staff in one place

  • use filters for quick search
