Follow a few simple steps — and your school will be ready for teaching.
Activate sections → fill in the profile → add your team → add a student → create a class → prepare a lesson → schedule it.
1. ⚙️ Activate the sections you need
Some platform sections need to be activated before you start working.
Go to Settings.
Open the required module.
Click “Activate”.
For example, you may need:
School Profile — information and school branding;
Teachers — for working with multiple teachers;
Students — for adding and managing students;
Administrators — for school staff;
Metrics — for viewing the school's key metrics.
💡 Tip: start with the “School Profile” module, and enable the others as needed.
You don't have to activate all features at once — you can add them later.
On the Pro plan, additional modules are activated in Settings, and some of them appear as separate menu items after activation.
2. 🏫 Set up the school profile
Open School Profile and fill in the basic information.
Name and branding
Enter the school name and upload an avatar if needed.
Languages taught
Add the languages your teachers teach. This will help you find a suitable teacher for a student more quickly later.
Contacts
Provide up-to-date:
● phone;
● email;
● social media links.
Also set the time zone in your personal profile settings and the school's working hours — they affect the schedule and the available time for lessons.
Go to Settings.
Open the “Online lessons” section.
Select the “Teachers” module.
Enable the required toggles.
Set the school's working hours.
Specify the general lesson schedule.
3. 👥 Add staff and teachers
Administrator
An administrator helps manage the school: adds students and teachers, works with materials, and performs other actions within the granted permissions.
Activate the module before adding an administrator.
Go to Settings.
Open the “General” section.
Select the “Administrators” module.
Click “Activate”.
After activating the module, add the staff member, enter their email, and configure access permissions — which sections and features will be available to them.
💡 Full access to the school settings remains with the super administrator.
Teacher
A teacher conducts lessons with students.
If several teachers work at the school, first activate the “Teachers” module.
Go to Settings.
Open the “Online lessons” section.
Select the “Teachers” module.
Click “Activate”.
After activating the module, you will be able to add teachers to the school.
When adding a teacher, we recommend filling in the following right away:
profile;
languages taught;
working hours.
Why is it important to set working hours?
If several teachers work at the school, the schedule helps you see who is available for new lessons.
When selecting a teacher for a student, the platform takes the available time in their schedule into account. Therefore, we recommend adding teachers and setting their working hours first, and only then assigning students.
4. 👤 Add your first student
Activate the “Students” module before adding a student.
Go to Settings.
Open the “Online lessons” section.
Select the “Students” module.
Click “Activate”.
After activating the module, go to the “Students” section and click “Create student”.
Fill in the basic information:
name;
email;
native language.
💡 It is important to specify the native language correctly — it affects some platform features, such as the “Dictionary”.
After creation, the student may be sent login details.
If you need to provide access again, open their profile → “Login details”.
Important: after creation, the student has not yet been added to a class. This is the next step.
5. 👥 Create a class
Go to “Classes” → “Create new class”.
Choose the appropriate format:
👤 Individual class
For lessons with one student. For example: Anna — English.
👥 Group class
For lessons with multiple students. For example: English B1 — evening group.
When creating classes, specify:
class type;
name;
cover — if needed.
After creating the class, add students to it.
💡 A student can belong to several classes at the same time.
🏃 Marathon
For self-paced learning, use a marathon. You can add participants, learning materials, and assignments to it, as well as configure access and track progress through the program.
👉 If there are lessons with a teacher — create a class. If the learning is self-paced — create a marathon.
6. 👥 Add students to the class
After creating the class, add the students who will attend the lessons.
You can:
select an already created student;
create a new one;
add a student to the class later.
💡 A student can belong to several classes.
If you are creating a marathon, open it and click “Add new student”.
7. 📚 Add learning materials
Now prepare the class for learning.
Open the virtual classroom, click the button, and add the materials that will be used in lessons.
You can use:
materials from the catalog;
school materials;
your own learning materials;
or you can create a lesson directly in the class.
💡 Materials can be prepared in advance, especially if the same lesson will be used by several teachers.
8. 📅 Schedule the first lesson
When the student, class, and teacher are ready, schedule the first lesson.
There are several ways to create a lesson:
👤 Through the student's profile
Suitable if you want to schedule a lesson for a specific student.
Open the student's profile:
Go to the schedule → select an available time → specify the lesson duration → create the lesson.
👥 Through the class profile
Convenient if you are working directly with the class.
Open the class:
Go to the schedule → select the date and time → create the lesson.
👩🏫 Through the teacher's profile
Suitable if you first need to find a teacher's available time.
Open the teacher's profile:
Go to the schedule → select an available time → create the lesson.
💡 Regardless of the method you choose, the lesson will be linked to the corresponding student, class, and teacher.
