⚠️ This article focusses on 🇧🇪 Belgian companies or self-employed.

To reimburse your employees at a fair rate, the Belgian industry suggests to use the kWh rate defined by CREG (Commission for Regulation of Energy and Gas), the regulatory body in Belgium overseeing the energy market.

Reimbursement by CREG rate

The CREG publishes an overview of the kWh rates for electricity in Belgium, Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. You can consult the historic prices set by CREG here.

💡 This data is based on the actual historic prices of energy contracts. The rate is usually published in the first week of the new (next) month.

Where can I find the CREG rate myself?

  • Go to the publishing page from CREG

  • Download and open the report for a specific month

  • Go to the details that gives the "Gemiddelde commerciële elektriciteitsprijs (all in) ". We use the specific rates listed in the tabel of "digitale teller met EV Residentieel Dc 8.000 kWh enkelvoudig huishouden gem mdpiek 7,36 kW."

  • Find the rate, expressed in cents per kWh for a specific month.

  • We use the BE rate.

WHAT'S NEXT?

There's EEVEE! Set this rate in the reimbursement section of the EEVEE Business platform Settings. This rate will be used by EEVEE to pay out your employees on a monthly basis.

More information on the configuration of the reimbursement rate can be found here.
