Effi knows it's important to be able to arrange and customize your scenes to suit your content and style. So when it comes to scenes with guests, we give you options to arrange guests the way you want.
The first thing to do is add a video feed element to your scene. From your list of scenes, choose the one you would like to add a guest to and then click the elements button from the right-hand menu.
Select the "Video Feed" option from the flyout.
Next, select a layout style.
Make sure that you choose the right layout since this can dictate how your guests are arranged. For example, if you have three guests in a scene, you can choose a Three Verticle layout, a Three Top layout, or add each guest individually using a one-camera layout β we'll get to this last option in the next section.
You can move a video feed element around, and resize it to your liking.
Then you will have to add your guests to the layout.
Once you've added a video feed to your scene, you'll notice a "Build" option appear in the right-hand menu. That's where you will add the guest you want to appear in that scene by selecting their name from the dropdown.
Each window is numbered. For multiple guests, find the number of the box you want them in, and add them there. Then their name will appear in their assigned window.
Additional ways of arranging guests
Instead of using one of our pre-set layouts, you can arrange multiple guests in your scene using individual video feed windows.
While we recommend going with a predesigned layout, there might be some reasons you would want to add each guest to an individual window. For example, you might want to place one guest on the right, one guest on the left, and a poll in between. Or maybe you want to use an overlay instead of a background image and want to place your guests in a mortise.
The process will be the same as above. With the difference being that you will have multiple video feed elements.
Here's a peek at what that can look like.
You can drag to arrange and resize so each video is exactly how you want it to appear in your content.
