eMenu provides a powerful feature to manage your menus efficiently by creating schedules. This allows you to customize when and how your menus are available, based on service type and timing. For example, you can create a schedule that activates a specific menu only on weekends for Discount.
How to Create a New Schedule
Follow these simple steps to create a schedule for your menu:
1. Navigate to the Menu Builder
Open the Menu Builder in your EmenuNow dashboard.
Click the Schedule button.
2. Start Creating a New Schedule
Click the Create button to begin setting up your schedule.
3. Set Up Your Schedule
Name Your Schedule
Give your schedule a clear and descriptive name, e.g., "weekend 20% Discount-online."
Choose Service Type
Select the type of service this schedule will apply to, such as dine-in, delivery, or takeaway.
Select Payment Method
Indicate the payment methods customers can use for this schedule.
Enable POS Interface
If you want the menu to integrate with your POS system, click the POS Interface button.
4. Set Timings for the Schedule
View Start Time
Specify when customers can view the menu. During this time, the menu will be visible, but customers won’t be able to place orders.
Ordering Start Time
Set the time when customers can begin placing orders from the menu.
5. Select Active Days
Choose the days of the week when the menu should be available, e.g., Friday to Sunday.
6. Finalise the Schedule
Click the Create Schedule button to save your schedule.
After saving, select the menu you want to associate with this schedule.
