Step 1 – Access public shareable links
Log in to Empego using an Owner or Pharmacist account.
Click on your name in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select “Public shareable links” from the dropdown menu.
⚠️ Shareable public links are not available for Assistant account types.
Step 2 – Understand the 3 types of links available
Empego now offers three formats of shareable links, based on your usage context:
Link Type | Recommended Use | Format |
In-pharmacy link | To be displayed physically in the pharmacy: at the counter, in the waiting area, or the aisles (e.g., smoking cessation, reflux, etc.). | Printable QR code |
Outside pharmacy link | To be shared online: website, social media, newsletters, etc. | Shareable URL |
Appointment link | To be embedded in an appointment booking platform, allowing patients to complete their questionnaire before the visit. | Shareable URL |
Each link type gives you two options:
Copy the URL to the clipboard
Download the corresponding QR code
💡 All links direct patients to a public page associated with your pharmacy, offering a simplified experience.
Step 3 – Generate a general or specific link
Option A: General link to the patient home page
Allows the patient to search for their chief complaint using a search bar.
Select the desired link type: in-pharmacy, outside pharmacy, or appointment.
Option B: Specific link for a consultation reason
Use the search bar to enter the desired reason (e.g., urinary tract infection, smoking cessation).
Click on the corresponding result.
Empego will automatically generate the three types of links for that reason:
In-pharmacy link (printable QR code)
Outside pharmacy link (URL for website or social media)
Appointment link (to include in booking confirmations or reminders)
✅ These links allow patients to access the correct questionnaire directly, bypassing the home page.
