The SEO Settings is an optional tool that can be used to set up an individual page with their own Title Bar, Keywords and Description. You can also set up a Facebook Image for the individual page to serve as the page's preview image on Social Media sites, like Facebook.

This is similar to the overall site settings, under General SEO Settings. However, anything added through the individual Page SEO Settings will override the General SEO Settings for the page.

This option is available for:

See below for an example on where you can find it in the back-end:

What Are These Fields For?

Page Title: The name or title for your page. This displays within the browser tab of your web browser, and it is also used as the name for the link of your website.

Keywords: The keywords for search engine result pages (SERPs) to display preview snippets for a given page. These keywords will help make it easier for your page to show up in the search results.

  • When adding in new keywords, add a comma and a space for each keyword. If you don't, it will confuse the search engines and make it harder for your page to be found in the search results

Description: The HTML attributes that provide concise explanations of the contents of the page. The search engines will display the information if the website shows up in the search results.

Facebook Image: As mentioned above, it is the preview image for the page when it is shared on Social Media sites like Facebook.

  • You can set up your Facebook Image by clicking the blue "Browse" button. This will open the file browser for your website where you can select the image of your choice.

  • The size of the image needs to be at least 200 X 200 pixels for this option to work; if it is smaller than this size, then the system will only use the default Facebook icon that was set up for the website.
