Upload GPX Files to Your Map

GPX files allow you to quickly import routes directly onto your map. This is especially useful for trail runs, sporting events or any event requiring mapped courses. EventLab will automatically place the GPX route in the correct geolocation.

Option 1 - Upload GPX from Event Maps

To upload a GPX file from the Event Maps menu:

  1. Go to Event Maps in the left-hand panel

  2. Find your map

  3. Click Actions on the right-hand side

  4. Select Upload GPX

You’ll then be prompted to:

  • Enter a route name

  • Choose a route colour

  • Upload your GPX file

Once uploaded, the route will automatically appear on the map in the correct geolocation.

Option 2 - Upload GPX Directly Inside the Map

You can also upload a GPX file while working inside a map.

To do this:

  1. Open your map

  2. Click the three dots menu in the top right corner

  3. Select Add GPX File

Then:

  • Enter a route name

  • Choose a route colour

  • Upload your GPX file

The route will automatically be added to the map in the correct location.

Edit GPX Routes

Once your route has been added, select it on the map.

In the right-hand panel, you can edit:

  • Route name

  • Route colour

This allows you to customise the appearance of your route.

Delete GPX Routes

To delete a GPX route:

  1. Select the route on the map

  2. Click the three dots menu in the top right

  3. Select Delete
