Setting Up Recurring Events
Updated over 2 weeks ago

Recurring events allow you to sell tickets to an event that repeats without creating multiple events for each day your event runs. With one event, you can set a schedule for any day and have it repeat across days, weeks, or months until a set date or indefinitely. This feature provides a convenient calendar date picker on the storefront for your customers to easily select which day they’d like to attend.

Creating Your First Recurring Event:

  1. Click on “Create Event” in the upper right-hand corner of the app.

  2. Name your event, then select “Recurring Event”.

  3. After selecting, a message will appear prompting you to set up the schedule after clicking save. Fill out the rest of the basic information for your event, then click Save.

Once the page reloads, you'll see a blank calendar where you can set your event schedule. To begin, click on any date to start your event.

Setting Up Event Schedules:

  1. Choose your start date and double-click on the desired date on the calendar.

  2. A pop-up will appear to set up your schedule. You can choose to repeat your event daily, weekly, or monthly, or set it for a single day.

3. Enter the event’s start date and time. You can click "All day" if the event takes a whole day. If not, enter the end date and time.

4. In the “Repeats until” field, select a date to stop the event from repeating, or choose “Forever” if you want it to run indefinitely. For example, if you want the event to run daily throughout December, set the start date to December 1st and the end date to December 31st, then click Save.

Once saved, the schedule will appear in the calendar, with the internal event name highlighted across all repeating days.

Editing and Managing Schedules:

You can edit the schedule at any time to adjust all instances, or individually manage tickets for a specific date by clicking on any date in the calendar.

To add additional schedules:

  1. Click on any date you want the new schedule to start.

  2. Enter the required details for the new schedule. For example, you might want to add evening passes in addition to your regular schedule. After adding multiple schedules, your calendar will display all days included in each schedule, allowing you to quickly view and manage tickets for any day.

Customer Experience:

When customers visit your store, they’ll see a date picker to choose their desired event date. To help customers easily find available times, the date picker shows which ticket types are sold out.

You can customize this date picker by navigating to “Storefront Integrations” in “Settings” and disabling the integration if needed.

Note: The storefront schedule is a theme integration, and different themes may display it differently. If you experience any issues, please let us know, and we’ll ensure it works for your theme.
