Can I Upload a List of Barcodes That Shopify Will Use When Selling Tickets?

Updated this week

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to upload a list of barcodes for Shopify to use when selling tickets through Evey Events. Each ticket already includes a unique QR code generated by the app to ensure secure check-ins.

However, if you prefer, you can upload a custom barcode image to appear on all tickets, but note that this barcode will be the same for every ticket and not unique per attendee.

How to Upload a Custom Barcode to Your Tickets

For the Online Ticket Page:

  1. Go to your event in the Evey app.

  2. Click “Event settings.”

  3. Go to the “Tickets” tab.

  4. Scroll to your ticket types and click “Customize” under Online Ticket Page.

  5. In the editor, click “Ticket info”, then “Ticket formats.”

  6. Click “Barcode.”

  7. Under Settings, upload your barcode image by clicking “Select file.”

For the PDF Ticket:

  1. From the same Tickets tab, click “Customize” under PDF Ticket Page.

  2. In the editor, click “Ticket”, then “Ticket stub.”

  3. Click “Code.”

  4. Upload your barcode image.

Note: The Apple Wallet Pass ticket does not support replacing the default QR code with a barcode.
