Suppose you're using a recurring event type in Evey to book services or events with frequently available times. In that case, you may want to sync the bookings/ticket sales information and customer details to an external calendar such as Google Calendar or the Apple iCloud Calendar. Again, we've got you covered; using the Calendar Sync Integration in Evey, you can subscribe to a calendar of ticket details for each time slot on your event for any calendar service/application that supports ICS files (most support this).

Enabling the integration

First, you'll need to enable the integration for your recurring event in Evey. Under the Event Settings -> Integrations tab, you'll see the "External calendar sync" section; hit the Activate button.

Once activated, select your calendar type and follow the instructions (or continue to the detailed instructions below).

Adding the subscription URL to your calendar

Most calendar services/applications have a way to subscribe to a calendar or even to add a calendar using an ICS file (or a URL of the file). If we do not have instructions for your calendar service, then consult the documentation for that service/application on how to subscribe to perform one of these everyday actions.

Google Calendar

On the left of the calendar page, select the plus icon button next to "Other calendars," then select the "From URL" option.

On the new page, enter the calendar subscription URL you copied from the Evey app and hit the Add calendar button.

Apple iCloud Calendar

Open the Apple calendar app; select the "New Calendar Subscription" option under the File menu.

Take the URL from the Evey app setup and paste it into the popup for the new subscription, hit the Subscribe button, add a custom name for this calendar, and you're done!

Note: We recommend setting it to refresh every 24 hours.
