How do I enable the waitlist?

To enable the waitlist, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the event for which you wish to enable the waitlist.

  2. Go to "Event Settings."

  3. Scroll down near the bottom until you see a section labeled "Event Settings."

  4. There, you will find the option to enable the waitlist.

How do I turn on the Klaviyo sync?

  1. First, go to the event settings and scroll down to the "Event Settings" section.

  2. Click "Enable Waitlist."

  3. The "Enable Waitlist Integration with Klaviyo" option will appear below it. Click it.

  4. Ensure your Klaviyo API settings are entered in the Storefront Integrations -> Integrations section. Once done, you're all set!

How do I access my waitlist?

All the information collected from the waitlist, including the customer's name, quantity of tickets, and ticket type, is conveniently stored in one place. Merchants can easily access this information via a button near the top right-hand corner, next to "Attendees." This centralized storage system is designed to keep you organized and in control of your waitlist.

Can I change the text of the "Join the waitlist" link?

At the launch of this feature, we were unable to change the text displayed for the link. However, we are considering adding this customization option in the future.

Can I change the text on the confirmation page be changed?

Currently, the text on the confirmation page ("Please enter your information to join the waitlist" and "Thanks, you've been added to the waitlist!") cannot be changed. However, we are considering adding this customization option.

Is the waitlist for individual ticket variants or the entire event?

The waitlist is enabled per event. When a merchant enables the waitlist for an event, it applies to all ticket variants within that event once the inventory capacity is reached.

If a customer orders two different tickets, will their name appear twice on the list with the specific ticket variants?

Yes, if a customer orders two different tickets, their name will appear twice on the list, each time with the specific ticket variant. This allows the merchant to easily track and identify when one of the ticket variants becomes available.

Do we send an email to the customers who join the waitlist?

No, customers who join the waitlist do not receive an email. This is designed to prevent feature misuse and help avoid spam.

How do I export my list?

Once inside the waitlist, you will see an "Export Waitlist" button that allows you to download your list as a CSV file easily.

How do I contact customers once tickets become available?

Use the email addresses in the waitlist to send a direct email, or use your favorite CRM app, such as Klaviyo, for which we offer a sync feature.
