You can offer free tickets for events intended for employees, friends, family, or VIP customers.
⚠️ While the ticket will be free for your customers, Evey still charges a processing fee per ticket processed based on your plan. To avoid this fee for complimentary $0 tickets, you can manually issue the tickets. Learn how to send free tickets without a processing fee.
Create a Free Ticket for a New Event
Create a new event by entering the event name, date, and location.
Scroll down to the “Ticket Types” section.
Set the ticket price to $0.
Ensure “Event visible on store” is checked.
Click “Save Event.”
Add a Free Ticket to an Existing Event
Open the event you want to edit.
Click on “Event Settings” from the event dashboard.
In the “Event Settings” window, go to the “Tickets” tab.
Click “Add ticket type.”
In the “Add ticket type” window:
Enter a name for the free ticket.
Set the price to $0.
Check “Available on the online store.”
Click “Save.”
Change an Existing Ticket to Free
Under the “Ticket types” section in the Tickets tab, click “Edit” next to the ticket you want to change.
In the “Edit ticket type” window:
Update the ticket name if needed.
Change the price to $0.
Click “Save.”
