Common Billing Questions
Do Charges Stop After My Event Ends?
No. Charges do not stop automatically. Per Shopify policy, you must manually cancel your subscription in the app to avoid further charges. Until canceled, the app remains active, and billing will continue.
What If I Don’t Have Events This Month?
All plans include unlimited events.
Monthly fees apply even if you don’t run an event.
Per-ticket fees only apply when tickets are created, processed, or sold.
How Are Per-Ticket Fees Calculated?
Per-ticket fees apply to every ticket created, including: For example, if you sell 160 tickets in a billing cycle on the Lite Plan, your usage charge will be $160. Similarly, on the Professional Plan, selling 8 tickets at $0.25 per ticket results in a $2 usage charge.
Tickets processed on your Shopify storefront
Manually created tickets
Tickets created through CSV imports
Tickets created via integrations
Note: Group ticket types that generate multiple tickets count as multiple charges. The "usage" line on your Shopify or Evey bill reflects the number of days the app was used to sell tickets, not the number of tickets sold. For instance, selling tickets on three separate days will show a usage of 3, with the total fee calculated based on tickets sold during those days multiplied by the per-ticket rate.
Are Refunded or Canceled Tickets Still Charged?
Yes. Even if a ticket is refunded or canceled, the per-ticket fee still applies. These fees are not reimbursed.
What About Free Tickets?
Lite Plan: Ticket fees apply for free tickets, regardless of whether they are purchased or manually added.
Standard & Professional Plans:
Manually added free tickets with a $0 value do not incur a ticket fee.
Purchased free tickets through the storefront still incur a ticket fee.
Summary: No ticket fee is charged only when you are on the Standard or Professional plan, the ticket price is $0, and the attendee is manually added.
