Some merchants prefer to hide or separate the service fee from the ticket price. However, due to Shopify’s checkout rules, this isn’t possible.
Why the Ticket Fee Cannot Be Hidden
Shopify does not allow apps to add any “hidden fees” during checkout.
Because of this policy:
The price shown on product and collection pages must match the final checkout price
The ticket price and service fee cannot be separated or hidden
All fees must be shown upfront to the customer before they reach checkout
This ensures pricing transparency and protects both merchants and customers.
