How to Enable Group Check-In for Your Event

Group Check-In makes event entry faster for orders with multiple tickets.

When enabled, scanning one ticket from an order that contains multiple tickets will prompt your staff to check in all tickets from that order at once.

This is especially helpful for:

  • Families or groups arriving together

  • Corporate/group bookings

  • Faster check-in lines at busy events


How to Enable Group Check-In

  1. Open your event in Evey

  2. Navigate to Check-In Settings

  3. Locate the Group Check-In setting

  4. Toggle Enable Group Check-In on


How It Works

Once enabled:

  • If an order contains multiple tickets

  • Scanning one ticket from that order will trigger a prompt asking if you want to check in the entire group

This allows your team to check in everyone from that order in one action.


Important Notes

  • Group Check-In only applies to orders with multiple tickets

  • Single-ticket orders will continue to check in normally

  • Staff can still review the prompt before confirming the group check-in


When Should I Use Group Check-In?

We recommend enabling this if:

  • Most attendees arrive together in groups

  • You want to speed up event entry

  • You sell family, team, or bulk ticket orders
