How to Print a Schedule

Updated over a week ago

If you’d like a hard copy of your schedule or want to download it as a PDF, Expressway Scheduling makes it easy—just make sure your schedule is published first.

Please note: Only published shifts will appear in the printout. If the schedule hasn’t been published yet, or if you're seeing a blank printout, double-check that your shifts have been finalized and published.

Important: If the PDF tab does not appear, your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Make sure pop-ups are allowed for Expressway Scheduling.

Steps to Print a Schedule

  1. Choose Your View
The content of your printout depends on the view you're in:

    • Day View: Prints the schedule for the selected day.

    • Week View: Prints the full week.

    • List View: Prints the list-style schedule view.

  2. Open the Print Menu
Once you’re in your desired view:

    • Click the More Actions button (three dots) in the top-right corner of the header.

    • Choose Print from the dropdown menu.

  3. Configure Your Print Settings
A confirmation popup will appear with the following options:

    • Print Scheduled Staff Only: Includes only employees who have published shifts.

    • Print All Staff: Includes all employees, even if they don’t have any shifts assigned.

If you're printing from the Week View, you'll also see:

    • Include Weekly Totals: This adds a footer showing key schedule metrics for each day, such as:

      • Forecasted Sales

      • Labor Cost

      • Sales per Labor Hour

      • Labor %

  4. Print or Download the Schedule

    • After making your selections, click the Print button.

    • A PDF version of the schedule will open in a new browser tab.

    • From there, you can either download the file or send it to your printer.

Troubleshooting

  • Blank printout? Double-check that the schedule is published.

  • No PDF tab? Your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Make sure pop-ups are allowed for Expressway Scheduling.
