Ready? Let’s go!
1. 👶 Export and send your child data
We’ve created helpful guides to assist you in exporting data from other platforms:
Please send us data to mda@famly.co before your Launch. This way, we can ensure everything is ready for your setup!
☝️ Having Trouble Exporting Data? No worries—we're here for you! Just reach out, and we’ll schedule a call to help you out.
Is your data on paper?
If your data is still on paper, you can start adding children via the Basics tab in your setup guide, which you can find on your home page.
Head to Classrooms to create spaces for assigning children.
Go to Children and start adding them! 😊💡 Remember to include each child's birthday and contact emails. Once you add a contact, you can set them as a bill payer. We recommend doing this ASAP, as payers are needed to set up plans.
2. 🧑 Get your staff on board
Inviting your staff to Famly early on is a breeze! By creating unique roles, you can take full control over what each person can do.
How to do it?
Go to Basics tabs of the Setup guide on your home page
Click on Staff card on
Click Start adding staff members
Click on Add employee in the top right corner of the Staff page that opens
Fill out info
You can choose to send their login later if you wish so
Roles and permissions
On the Staff page you can find a Role tab. Click on it to see roles in your center.
By default you’ll see three roles - a Manager, Teacher and Lead Teacher.
Each of these roles have different permissions - that’s how you gain full control over who can do what.
You can create new roles and tweak permissions. Next, you can assign these roles to all the employees you add.
Eager to get going before your data is ready?
We love your enthusiasm! You can kick things off with the Setup guide.
The Setup Guide is the first thing you’ll see when you log into Famly. It gathers all the important questions and preferences, so you don’t have to jump around the platform.
It covers four main categories: Basics, Attendance, Finance, and Communication. Each section turns yellow when in progress and green once completed, allowing you to work at your own pace.
