It's time to say goodbye to Get started 👋🏼
To make things simpler in Famly, we’ve combined the Get started section with your general settings. Now, everything is in one handy place – no more switching between sections to manage your setup. Don’t worry, even though Get started is gone, all the helpful features you’re used to have just moved to your Settings.
This article will guide you through where to find everything that used to live in Get started, in its new home in Settings.
Split into Basic Setup and Finance Setup, you'll see the areas that used to be in Get started on the left of the table, and how to get to the same area via Settings on the right.
Basic Setup

Basic info / Site info | General → Site information + Opening hours + Closure days |
Rooms / Classrooms | Classrooms → Overview + Upcoming classroom moves + Classroom move rules + Health screening statements |
Children | Sidebar → Children |
Staff | Sidebar → Home → Staff |
💡 The Children and Staff sections have not been moved to Settings, but can be found in the corresponding sections in your sidebar instead
