How to use Fanbase Audiences

How to identify audiences and send targeted communications.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Audiences feature enables targeted fan communication based on behavioural data. You can quickly identify specific groups of fans (e.g., upcoming match attendees, lapsed buyers, non-renewed season ticket holders) and send tailored messages.

This feature streamlines fan engagement while maximising marketing impact.

Step 1: Access the Audiences Tab

  • Navigate to the “Fan Profiles” section.

  • Click on the “Audiences” tab.

Step 2: Choose an Audience Type

  • Select a pre-defined audience from the options, such as:

    • Upcoming match attendees.

    • Fans who made one purchase but haven’t returned in three months.

    • Season ticket holders from last year who haven’t renewed.

Step 3: Generate the Audience

  • Click “Generate” to create the audience.

  • Review the total number of fans included and check how many have opted in for marketing communications.

Step 4: Take Action

  • Choose one of the following actions:

    • Send Push Notification: Directly send a message to fans’ mobile devices.

    • Download Audience List: Export the audience data for use in external tools like Mailchimp (email integration coming soon).

Step 5: Refine Your Approach

  • Repeat the process as needed to target additional audiences or refine your campaigns.
