When creating an order, you have the option to capture it as a reservation during the payment method stage. This allows you to collect payment at a later time. The system will consider the reservation as tickets sold and secure them, but the tickets will not be distributed to the user or count toward revenue until the reservation is converted to a paid order.
For more details on how to manage reservations, check out our article on viewing orders and reservations.
Use Cases for Reservations
Reservations are particularly useful in scenarios such as:
A fan wants to secure tickets over the phone but will pay in person at the ticket office.
A fan wants to reserve a hospitality table but will call back later to finalize the payment.
Managing Hospitality Reservations
Reservations can also be used to manage hospitality bookings, allowing flexibility for both fans and club staff.
