Entry Without Inspection (EWI) refers to a foreign national entering the United States without going through a formal inspection at an entry port, such as a border checkpoint. Individuals who enter without inspection often do so without a valid visa or by avoiding immigration checkpoints. FastVisa allows you to record these cases accurately in a client’s profile with minimal entry requirements.
Steps to Create a Visa Entry Without Inspection (EWI)
To create a visa entry without inspection:
Go to the Client’s Profile: Open the profile of the client for whom you want to record an entry without inspection.
Navigate to Visa Entry: Select the “Visa Entry” section within the client profile.
Add a Visa Record: Click Add Visa Record Entries to start a new entry.
Enable Entry Without Inspection (EWI): Toggle the switch labeled Entry Without Inspection (EWI) to the “ON” position.
When toggled ON, all other fields in Visa Entry will be set to “OFF” by default, allowing you to save a visa entry without additional details.
By recording entries without inspection accurately, FastVisa helps ensure all client immigration cases are documented comprehensively and efficiently. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reach out to FastVisa Support.
