What are the Standard Payment Terms For Travelers?

FOR EXPERIENCE MAKERS

Updated over a week ago

Balancing Flexibility for Success:

We advise travelers to book early in order to secure the best experiences and experience makers. Also, we recommend not requiring payments too early, making it more comfortable for potential travelers to commit. Establishing clear deadlines—such as the last day for cancellations and when the booking window closes (i.e., the number of days before the booking closes) —enhances flexibility for everyone involved, ensuring optimal use of available spots.

Standard Payment Terms (applicable for most of our Experiences):

  • Advance Payment: None at booking.

  • Full Payment Due (Traveler pays this to Fernwayer): 15 days before the experience, providing travelers sufficient time to make decisions.

  • Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations at least 7 days in advance, balancing the interests of both travelers and Experience Makers. Cancellations done by the Traveler within the 7 day window are charged 100%.

Special Considerations for One-Time Events:

For special, one-time events or experiences requiring significant logistics, standard terms might be adjusted. If your experience falls into this category, please reach out to discuss specific conditions directly with us.
