An Entry is a single occurrence of your Experience on a specific date and time.
Most Entries are generated automatically by a Schedule, but you can also add, edit, or delete an individual Entry without affecting the rest of your calendar.
This article covers three things you might need to do with a single Entry, plus how to accept a booking after your cutoff has passed.
Adding a Single Entry
Use Create Entry when a traveler asks for a date and time that isn't already on your calendar — and you only need to add that one occurrence.
From your Booking Calendar, click the three dots next to the Experience.
Select Create Entry.
Choose the date and time.
Complete the remaining fields and submit.
Editing a Single Entry
You can adjust an individual Entry within a Schedule without affecting the rest of the Schedule.
Open the Booking Calendar and select the Experience.
Use View Calendar to find the date you want to edit.
Click the three dots next to that Entry and choose Edit Entry.
From here you can:
Adjust the start time for just that one Entry.
Change the maximum number of participants (up to 8) for either Private or Shared Experiences. (You can't change the minimum number.)
For Private Experiences, increase the number of simultaneous groups if you have enough hosts that day.
Deleting a Single Entry
Use this for one-off scheduling conflicts — for example, you've received a booking from another channel for that date.
From your Booking Calendar, select the Experience and click View Calendar.
Navigate to the month with the conflict, select the dates, and hit Apply.
Click the three dots next to the Entry and choose Delete Entry.
If the Entry already has bookings on it, you cannot delete it — you must honor those bookings.
Best practice: review and clean up your Booking Calendar at least twice a week to catch conflicts early, especially if you also take bookings outside Fernwayer.
Accepting a Booking After the Cutoff
If a traveler asks for a date that falls after your booking cutoff (e.g. you require 48 hours' notice but they need to book for tomorrow), you'll need to temporarily adjust your cutoff setting before the booking can go through.
Go to My Profile → click on the Experience.
Go to the bottom of the page and click on Share and select the pencil icon to edit.
In Provide Experience Details, find the field Number of hours booking closes before start.
Lower it temporarily — for example: 12 hours to allow booking for the next day - or 4 hours to allow same-day booking.
Check your Booking Calendar to confirm the date/time now shows as available. If it doesn't, create a new Entry manually (see Adding a Single Entry above).
Let the traveler know they can book, and ask them to do so as soon as possible.
Once they've booked, reset the cutoff back to your normal value. If you forget, you may receive other last-minute bookings unexpectedly.
