Summary
This guide is for Admin users who manage the Timesheet feature in Fieldwork HQ. As an Admin, you oversee all employee time entries, ensure compliance, and perform the corrections and approvals that standard employees can't. Admins manage all timesheets through the Fieldwork HQ desktop (browser) interface.
Role requirement: Editing any employee's saved time entries is restricted to users with the Admin role. See Settings — Users & Routes.
Before you begin, it helps to review the employee workflow: Fieldwork HQ Timesheet Feature for End-Users.
Key Points
Only Admins can edit an employee's saved time entries.
Correct saved entries, or manually add a full entry for a missed shift.
Filter the multi-user grid by week and by employee.
There's no dedicated Timesheet report yet — print the grid view to capture data.
Accessing the timesheet
The Admin view shows the timesheets of all employees. Use the filters to focus:
Week of — use the date selector to change the week you're viewing.
Employee filter — use the dropdown at the top to show a single employee or a specific team.
Correcting and adding time
These functions are available only to Admin users.
Correct a saved entry — Once an employee's entry is saved (after clocking out or a manual save), they can no longer edit it in the Fieldwork Office app; only an Admin can edit it from the desktop.
Navigate to the employee and use the Week of filter to find the date needing correction.
Click the date of the entry to open the Time Entry pop-up.
Modify any field: Date, Start/End time of the main shift, Break start/end times (or click Add a break for multiple breaks), and Notes (for both the shift and the break).
Review the Hours Worked calculation and click Save. The corrected entry appears in the grid.
Manually add a full entry — Use this when an employee failed to clock in or out for an entire shift.
Click Create Time Entry in the top-right of the Timesheet screen.
In the pop-up, make sure the correct User (employee) is selected.
Enter the Date, plus the Start time and End time for the whole shift.
Log all breaks taken during the shift.
Click Save. The new entry appears in the employee's row with a Draft status.
Printing and exporting
There's currently no built-in Timesheet report, so printing the visible grid is the main way to capture a snapshot for auditing or records.
Use the Week of and Employee filter controls so the grid shows only the data you need (e.g., one employee's week).
Print:
Google Chrome — right-click anywhere on the Timesheet page and select Print.
Other browsers — use the standard print function (File → Print or Ctrl+P/Cmd+P).
Export limitation: There is currently no direct export or CSV download on the Timesheet page.
