Summary
Smart Folders let you save your filter searches for you to access later. Smart Folders can be used in any of the Sales categories: Estimates, Work Orders, Invoices, and Payments.
Key Points
- Create the criteria you want to save 
- Click the Save button in the upper-right corner 
- Give the Smart Folder a name 
To use Smart Folders:
In this example, we search for unpaid invoices for the current month.
- From the Dashboard, click Sales 
- Click Invoices 
- Click the text box below From: 
- Click the first day of the current month 
- Click the text box below To: 
- Click the last day of the current month 
- Under Status click Unpaid 
- Click the Filter; all the unpaid invoices for the current month appear 
- Click the Save button in the upper-right corner 
- Give the Smart Folder a name, such as Unpaid <current month/year> invoices 
- Select [X] Share this folder with other users so other users can see it 
- Click Save Changes 
The filter is now saved. You don't have to repeat these steps tomorrow.
To access the Smart Folder:
- In the upper-left corner of the page you see Invoices next to a folder icon. 
- Click Invoices 
- Click Unpaid <current month/year> invoices
