Summary

Add a contact when an account needs multiple people to receive Invoice or Work Order emails, reminders or access to the customer portal. Where you add the contact determines what they can receive or do.

Key Points

  • From the Customer page add a billing contact

  • From the Service Location page add a service contact

From the Customer page, click the Edit button at the top of the page. Click the Add Contact button in the upper right.

You can add a billing contact. Typically a billing contact is only interested in the amount that needs to be paid. For example, from the Customer Add Contact page, the billing contact might only be interested in invoices and accessing them through the customer portal.

From the Service Location page, click the Edit button at the top of the page. Click the Add Contact button in the upper right.

You can add a service contact. A service contact is usually more interested in the work being done. For example, from the Service Location Add Contact page, the service contact might only be interested in Work Orders, Appointment Reminders, or Text Confirmations.
