Summary

You might have a scenario where you visit a commercial food plant twice a month; the interior devices are scanned twice a month, the exterior devices are scanned once a month.

If you're creating a new account create two service locations. If you've already combined the interior/exterior into one location create a trap condition to skip it.

Key Points

  • Create two service locations
    -OR-

  • Create a Trap Condition to skip it

Create two service locations

Name them Interior and Exterior, for example.

Add the devices for each location.

For the Interior location, create a Work Order series with a Service Frequency of twice a month.

For the Exterior location, create a Work Order series with a Service Frequency of monthly. Make sure the date and time matches one of the Interior service date and time so you do both on that same visit.

Each Work Order will then show all devices as being scanned, which will make an auditor happy.

Create a Trap Condition to skip it

If you already have your interior/exterior devices combined in one location, your exterior traps will show as being skipped on one of the visits. This will make an auditor unhappy.

To show that the device was intentionally skipped, go to Settings/Trap Conditions and create a condition named Not scheduled for inspection on this visit.

In the mobile app, open the device being skipped, tap Trap Condition, select Not scheduled for inspection on this visit, tap Save, and move on to the next trap.

The Work Order will show the device was intentionally skipped on this visit.
