This article is for Android devices. If you're using iOS, visit this guide.

If the app finds your device but fails to connect to it with this error, you're most likely experiencing Bluetooth Pairing Issues.

What to do?

First: Unpair the Fieldy device

Be careful, this will erase your Offline Storage.
Short click, then immediately press and hold the Fieldy button for 10 seconds until 4 different colors blink. Then the light should switch to Blue. If it comes back to White instead of Blue, do it again.

Exact steps

  • Short Click (up to 1 second, should not turn off/on the device)

  • Gap (very short, about 0.5 second)

  • Press and Hold for 10 seconds

  • Light should cycle in 4 colors.

  • Light should become Blue.

If it always come back to White, then most likely Short Click was not captured. If you still struggle, we recommend to send a video of you doing it to our Customer Support, they will let you know what you're doing wrong.

Then: Force Stop the App

  1. Go to Phone settings

  2. Find "Apps", press on it

  3. Find "Fieldy" in the app list, press on it

  4. Press "Force stop"

Finally: Connect and Pair

Now try to connect the device again. You should be prompted with a new Pairing request. Press "Pair".
