If you started using Firsty before the updated app experience, this article explains how your current plans work and what happens as Firsty moves everyone to its new plans.
Firsty Legacy plans
Firsty is rolling out an updated app experience with three plans: Free, Classic, and Unlimited, at the same price in every country. Until your account moves to the updated experience, your existing plans keep working exactly as before. This article covers those earlier plans: the original Firsty Free, Comfort+, and First Class.

The original Firsty Free
On the earlier experience, Firsty Free works in 30-minute sessions:
Watch a short advertisement in the app to connect for 30 minutes.
You can stack up to 12 advertisements in a row, for up to 5 hours of uninterrupted access.
There is a daily limit of 300MB. Once you reach it, advertisements can no longer be watched that day, and access resets automatically after 24 hours.
Speeds are designed for essential use, such as messaging, email, and navigation.
On the updated experience, Firsty Free is data-based instead: each advertisement earns 20 MB, up to 15 advertisements per day, at speeds up to 1 Mbps. See the What is Firsty Free? article for details.
Comfort+
Comfort+ is a flexible daily data plan with adjustable speeds:
High-speed data up to 5 Mbps.
After 512 MB of data in a day, your speed adjusts to 1 Mbps. After 1.5 GB, it adjusts to 512 Kbps for the rest of that 24-hour period.
The daily allowance resets every 24 hours from the moment you activate your plan.
You can boost your plan to add an extra 1 GB of high-speed data, or upgrade to First Class for your remaining plan days.
First Class
First Class is the premium plan on the earlier experience:
Up to 5 GB of high-speed data per day at the fastest available speed.
After the daily 5 GB, your speed adjusts to 512 Kbps until the daily reset.
If you need more high-speed data, you can purchase a top-up.
Pausing Comfort+ and First Class
Both plans can be paused by the day:
Your plan starts the moment you activate it.
If you pause mid-day, the pause applies to the remaining full days. Hours already started continue to run.
Paused days never expire. You can reuse them whenever you return to the same country.
You can transfer paused days to another country. If the destination has higher data costs, an extra charge may apply.
While paused, you still have access to the Firsty app and Uber at no extra cost.
Moving to the new plans
Firsty is migrating accounts to the updated experience gradually:
New users on app version 1.8.2 already see the new plans.
From 6 July 2026, users with no active plan are migrated.
If you have an active plan or subscription, nothing changes until it ends. After that, you move to the updated experience.
If you have a paused Comfort+ or First Class plan, it is automatically upgraded to Unlimited at no cost. If your Firsty eSIM was turned off in the meantime, you may need to reinstall the eSIM and tap Activate again.
You do not need to update or reinstall your eSIM for this change; it happens in the app. If your eSIM was installed before September 2025, you may not see the updated experience straight away; Firsty is working to bring it to all customers in the coming months.
