How much free data do I get?
With Firsty Free, you get up to 300MB of data per day.
This is designed for essential use like messaging, maps, and light browsing.
When does my data reset?
Your 300MB allowance resets every 24 hours from the moment you first start using data.
This means:
– Example: If you start using data at 10:00 AM, your next reset will be at 10:00 AM the following day
– Once you reach the 300MB limit, your data will stop
– You’ll be able to use data again once the next 24-hour cycle begins
Why did my data run out so fast?
Your data usage includes everything running on your phone, not just what you actively use.
This includes:
– Background apps (e.g., social media, email syncing)
– App updates
– Cloud backups (Google Photos, iCloud, etc.)
– Push notifications
Even if you’re not actively browsing, these can quickly consume your daily 300MB.
How can I track my data usage?
Currently, the Firsty app does not show a live data usage tracker for Free plans.
To check your usage, you can use your phone settings:
On iPhone:
– Go to Settings
– Tap Cellular
– Scroll down to see data usage per app
On Android:
– Go to Settings
– Tap Network & Internet or Connections
– Tap Data Usage
This will help you see which apps are consuming the most data.
How can I make my data last longer?
To avoid using up your data too quickly:
– Turn off background app refresh
– Disable automatic updates
– Use WiFi whenever possible
– Limit video streaming and heavy apps
– Turn off cloud backups while on mobile data
Why do ads still work even if I have no data?
If you’re on the Free plan, you may still see ads load even when your browsing doesn’t work.
This is expected behavior, ads are required to keep the Free plan running.
Need more data?
If you need faster speeds or more data, you can upgrade anytime in the Firsty app.
