Firsty's new plans: what's changing

Firsty is rolling out one global setup: three plans (Free, Classic, and Unlimited) at the same price in every country. This article explains what is changing, when you will see it, and what happens to your current plan.

What's changing

Until now, Firsty's plans differed country by country, with different prices, networks, and rules. Firsty now connects to more providers globally and can switch between them automatically to improve quality and stability. That makes it possible to offer one setup for the whole world instead of treating every country as a separate product.

For you, that means:

  • The same pricing in every country

  • More network providers and better stability

  • A simpler choice between three plans

  • Faster speeds on Firsty Free

The new plans

  • Free: watch an advertisement to earn 20 MB of data, up to 15 advertisements per day, at speeds up to 1 Mbps. Earned data stacks and stays valid for 7 days. See What is Firsty Free?

  • Classic: one-off data bundles from 0.5 GB to 50 GB, valid for 30 days after activation, from €3.50 and down to €0.98 per GB on larger bundles. See What is Classic?

  • Unlimited: unlimited data from €2.50 per day, down to €2 per day for longer trips, with a fair usage policy of 5 GB per day. See What is Unlimited?

When you'll see the new plans

The rollout is gradual:

  • New users on app version 1.8.2 see the new plans now.

  • From 6 July 2026, users with no active plan are migrated.

  • Users with an active plan or subscription, including monthly subscriptions, are migrated once their current plan ends.

What happens to your current plan

If you have an active plan, nothing changes. To keep your connection stable, your plan runs until it is finished. Once it is completed, you move to the updated experience.

If you have a paused Comfort+ or First Class plan, it is automatically upgraded to Unlimited at no cost. If your Firsty eSIM was turned off in the meantime, you may need to reinstall the eSIM and tap Activate again.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have Classic and Unlimited at the same time?

Yes. Unlimited takes priority. Once you have used your high-speed Unlimited allowance for the day, your Classic bundle takes over until your daily usage resets.

Do I need to update or reinstall my eSIM?

No. This is a change in the app only; your eSIM keeps working as it is.

I have the new app but don't see the new plans. How do I get them?

That is expected. The updated experience is rolling out gradually, starting with new users. If your eSIM was installed before September 2025, you may not see it straight away.

My eSIM was installed before September 2025. When do I get the new experience?

Firsty is working to bring the updated experience to all customers in the coming months. If you want it sooner, you can purchase a new eSIM for €0.90 in the app.

Can I start a monthly subscription in the new experience?

Not yet. Firsty is working to make monthly subscriptions available in the updated experience in the coming months. If you already have a subscription, it continues as normal until it ends.

Are Calling, Wallets, or promo codes changing?

No. These features stay the same.
