We've made a new Firsty eSIM with an improved experience and more coverage. If we've asked you to switch, in the Firsty app or by email, please do it before 31 October 2026. Your current Firsty eSIM stops working on 1 November 2026.
If we haven't asked you to switch, you don't need to do anything.
Switching is free and takes about 2 minutes. If you have a plan, it moves to your new eSIM automatically.
Before you start
Connect to Wi-Fi. Once you delete your current eSIM, you have no Firsty data until the new one is installed.
Turn off any VPN.
Update the Firsty app from the App Store or Google Play.
Switch your eSIM
Delete your current Firsty eSIM in your phone's settings. Turning the line off isn't enough. It needs to be removed from your phone. The steps for iPhone and Android are below.
Open the Firsty app straight away, while you're still on Wi-Fi.
Tap Install eSIM and follow the steps on screen.
Your new eSIM is ready to use. When you travel, turn on Data Roaming for it.
Delete your eSIM on iPhone
Open Settings.
Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data).
Tap your Firsty plan.
Tap Delete eSIM (or Remove Cellular Plan), then confirm.
Delete your eSIM on Android
Menus vary by phone. On most Android phones:
Open Settings.
Tap Connections (or Network & internet).
Tap SIM Manager (or SIMs).
Tap your Firsty eSIM, then tap Remove (or Delete) and confirm.
If Install eSIM doesn't appear
Check that the eSIM was deleted, not only turned off. If Firsty still appears in your phone's list of SIMs, delete it.
Stay on Wi-Fi, close the Firsty app completely, and open it again. It can take a minute for the app to see that your old eSIM is gone.

Common questions
What happens to my plan?
If you have days left on a plan, they move to your new eSIM automatically. You don't need to buy anything.
Will I need to do this again?
No. Once your new eSIM is installed, we can keep it up to date in the background, so you won't need to reinstall it for future updates.
What if I don't switch?
Your current Firsty eSIM stops working on 1 November 2026. Please switch before then so you're connected on your next trip.
