You can update all text in your countdown timer directly in the Shopify Theme Editor. This includes the heading, subtitle, time labels, and expired message.
Change text in Flash Countdown Timer
Steps:
Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin
Click Customize on your active theme
Select your Flash Countdown Timer block
In the left panel, update the following fields:
Heading (main message)
Subtitle (optional supporting text)
Labels (days, hours, minutes, seconds)
Expired message (shown when the timer ends)
Click Save
👉 Your changes will appear instantly in the preview.
What each field does
Heading: The main message (e.g. “Sale ends soon”)
Subtitle: Optional extra context (e.g. “Don’t miss out”)
Labels: The text under each time unit (e.g. Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds)
Expired message: What customers see after the countdown ends
Tips for best results
Keep your heading clear and urgent
Use the subtitle to add context or reinforce the offer
Short labels (like “HRS” or “MIN”) can make the design more compact
Make sure your expired message still makes sense (e.g. “Sale has ended”)
Preview before publishing
Before going live:
Check how your text looks on desktop and mobile
Make sure nothing is cut off or too long
Confirm the message is clear and easy to understand
