Open the app and go to the shifts tab. You'll see the shifts available near you, with the date, the times, the care home and the rate on each one.
Tap a shift to see the full details, including how far away it is and what the care home is like.
If it suits you, tap to apply. Applying isn't the same as being booked. The care home reviews applications and approves the worker they want, so you'll get a notification once they've decided.
You can apply for more than one shift while you wait. You'll find everything you've applied for under "My shifts", in the Applications tab.
Once you're approved, the shift moves to your Booked shifts. That means it's yours and the care home is expecting you.
A few things worth knowing. You'll only see shifts you're qualified for and that are within reach of where you live. Popular shifts go quickly, so it's worth turning on notifications. And you're never obliged to apply for anything.
