In order to practice in Canada as a nurse you have to be registered with your province's designated regulatory body. In Ontario this is CNO.

We need Florence nurses to hold a valid CNO number with the status ‘entitled to practice with no restrictions.’

Any nurse qualified abroad must go through the process of registering with the CNO to ensure the qualification and skills align with Canadian practical standards.

If you have qualified as a nurse abroad but have yet to register with the CNO, you may be entitled to work with us as personal support worker as long as you have clinical experience in Canada.

To register as a PSW you will need to upload your international nurse qualification in lieu of your personal support worker diploma.
