This documentation provides an overview of how to utilize the AI Assistant within the Inventory Module for effective inventory management.

Accessing the AI Assistant

  • The AI Assistant is accessible from the Inventory Module. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to use this feature.

Creating Inventory Items

You can create inventory items using various methods:

  • Upload Images: Capture and upload pictures of purchase orders, deliveries, receipts, or warehouse images.

  • Voice Input: Speak to the AI Assistant to create items.

  • Text Input: Type commands to create items.

  • Bulk Upload: Import multiple inventory items by uploading CSV or Excel files.

Managing Inventory Items

For existing inventory items, such as "AC coolant":

  • Add Stock:

    • Upload pictures to add stock.

    • Use voice commands to add stock.

    • Type commands to add stock.

  • Update Items:

    • Update item details using voice or text input.

    • Upload pictures for updates.

Inventory Transactions

On the procurement screen, you can manage inventory transactions:

  • Move Inventory: Speak or type commands to move inventory between locations.

  • Complete Actions: Use voice or text to complete various inventory actions.

  • Create Adjustments:

    • Upload pictures to create adjustments.

    • Use voice or text commands to create adjustments.

Querying Inventory Data

The AI Assistant can answer questions related to inventory:

  • Usage Queries: Ask about specific item usage (e.g., "What was my AC coolant usage last year?"). The assistant will analyze real-time data and provide insights.

  • Transactional Queries: Inquire about purchasing items and their transaction history.

Help and Support

For functionality-related questions:

  • Ask the AI Assistant how to perform tasks (e.g., "How do I add stock to inventory?").

  • The assistant will refer to the help center and return:

    • Step-by-step instructions.

    • Help center articles with video tutorials.

Limitations

  • The AI Assistant is trained on data up to October 2023. Ensure your queries are relevant to this timeframe.

By leveraging the AI Assistant, you can streamline inventory management tasks, gain insights, and access support efficiently.
