Use the assistant and live stream to create receiving adjustments and variance counts.
Receiving adjustments (incoming inventory)
Create a new adjustment and choose Receiving as the type.
Select the location.
Tap Live Stream.
For each incoming item: scan the barcode, capture a photo, and say how many you received β for example, "There's 12 of these."
Hit Submit and move on to the next item. The assistant queues each adjustment row in the background.
Variance adjustments (physical counts)
Create a new adjustment and choose Variance as the type.
Open the live stream on your phone.
Walk up to each bin: scan the QR code or barcode, capture a photo of the shelf, and say the actual count β "There's 12 of these things."
Submit and move to the next bin. The assistant records each actual count as an adjustment row and the variance calculates automatically.
What you can say
"There are 12 of these in the box."
"This bin has 24 units."
"I count 8 β it should be 10."
Tips
Put the assistant in autonomous mode so it processes each scanned item without stopping for confirmation.
The live stream stays open so you can scan, say the count, submit, and immediately move to the next item.
Somebody unloading a delivery truck can have their phone open, scanning items as they come off the truck, and the assistant builds the receiving adjustment in real time.
