Setting up table combinations

Learn how to set up table groups so you can accept larger parties by combining multiple tables.

With table combinations, you can turn 2 tables for two into 1 table for four β€” or seat even larger groups. FRANK uses these combinations not only for online reservations but also when you manually enter a phone reservation.

Good to know before you start

  • Each table can only be assigned to one combination.

  • Always create the largest possible table combination. FRANK will then automatically calculate the most efficient seating arrangement.

Tip! Set up your combinations thoughtfully, but don’t overthink it. Start with a few commonly used setups and test them out. You can always optimize later.

Creating a Table Combination

  1. Go to Areas and click the area of your choice.

  2. Click Table Groups in the top-right corner and give your new group a name β€” for example, Terrace.

  1. You'll see a pop-up in which you can start adding new table groups. Click on + Create tablegroup. Add or remove seats using the + and – buttons.

  2. Delete a table group by clicking the trash can icon.

  3. Add a table to a group by clicking + in the Table Group column of the Table Overview.

Want to delete a table group? Simply click on the trash icon.

Important for Layout

Make sure the tables in the same group are actually positioned next to each other in your area overview. You can easily rearrange them by clicking the six dots and dragging the tables to the right spot.
