Getting your restaurant ready for bookings consists of 5 steps:

  1. Add your restaurant details

  2. Create your table plan

  3. Create your Tickets

  4. Create your Shifts

  5. General setup check + final touches

Step 1: Adding your restaurant details in FRANK

To properly set up your restaurant in FRANK you first have to make sure your general restaurant details are filled in. We use this information in the widget, your guest emails, terms & conditions, and privacy statement.

Begin with the basics:

  • Add your logo

  • Write your restaurant description

  • Customize the button colors of your widget

Step 2: Create your table plan

Just like in your physical restaurant, tables are the foundation of your setup. Start by adding your areas and tables. With FRANK, you can easily design your floor plan to match your restaurant’s real layout, including areas, table numbers, and the maximum number of guests per table.

Step 3: Create your Tickets

Once your tables are set, we create Tickets allow you to create unique moments and promotions to offer directly through your own website. Even better: you can easily promote them via your newsletter or social media. Choose an eye-catching image, write a personal text, and guide your guests through the booking process in a fresh and welcoming way.

Step 4: Create your Shifts

Tickets are just one part of the equation; to actually make them bookable you have to connect them to Shifts. Shifts define when your restaurant is open for reservations. They tell FRANK exactly which days and times guests can book a table, how far in advance they can reserve, and which special moments or menus are available during those hours.

Step 5: General setup check + final touches

The final step is to do a check on your restaurant setup. There are some default settings for the modification and cancellation period for reservations, and you can, for example, customize your fully booked text.

Go to Manage β†’ Setup to fine-tune your setup and make sure your restaurant is ready to go live.
