How to set up prepayments for specific Tickets

Learn how to ask for a deposit and let guests make a downpayment when they make a reservation.

To avoid no-shows, you can ask for a prepayment for a reservation. In FRANK, you can decide per Ticket whether you want to work with prepayments or not.

Set a Ticket prepayment price

  1. In FRANK, go to Manage β†’ Tickets

  2. Select the Ticket you want to set a prepayment price for or create a new Ticket by clicking the blue + Ticket button at the top right.

  3. In the left menu, click on Price.

  4. Select Prepayment if you only want guests to make a downpayment, select Full Amount if you want guests to pay the entire moment upfront.

  5. Once you've selected this, set the amount guests have to pay upfront.

  6. Lastly, set the refund period, if applicable. Guests will be informed during booking about the refund period.

Connect a payment method

If you want to work with prepayments you have to connect a payment method to FRANK.

  1. Go to Manage β†’ Setup.

  2. Click on Payments.

  3. Click on the blue Connect Mollie account button and follow the steps.

Tip! Prepayments are fantastic to avoid no-shows. Because you have full flexibility when setting them up, you can choose to always ask for a downpayment for, for example, your Sunday Brunch and Christmas Menu, but not for your regular lunch and dinner reservations.
