Want to smooth out peak hours and spread reservations more evenly? With FRANK, you can easily set a maximum number of guests or reservations per time slot. This helps you control the day’s flow, reduce pressure in the kitchen and on the floor, and create a more relaxed experience for your guests.
How to set a maximum number of reservations per time slot
Go to Manage → Setup.
Choose the maximum number of reservations per 15 minutes.
Optionally, adjust these additional settings:
Reservation change window → how long before the reservation a guest can make changes.
Reservation cancellation window → how long before the reservation a guest can cancel.
These settings apply to your entire restaurant.
How to set a maximum number of guests per time slot
In addition to setting a maximum number of reservations per time slot you can also set a maximum number of guests.
Go to Manage → Shifts.
Click on Staggering (Spreiding) at the top.
Click on + Staggering (+Spreiding) to add a new rule.
In the pop-up that appears, set the number of guests and/or reservations for each time slot by using the - and + buttons.
In the Repeat tab, set how you want to repeat these rules. You can choose to set it for a specific date only, or repeat it on a monthly basis.
